Cats in the care of the Floyd County Humane Society are kept at foster homes until time of adoption. Adoption fees are $85 and include: spay or neuter, feline leukemia test, FIV test, rabies shot, distemper shot, flea treatment and deworming. Two kittens (born April 12th) need homes. Both are male: one tan and the other gold tiger stripped. Their mother was a stray whom we took in. She was run over when the kittens were 3 weeks old. They were dropper fed for several week but now are self sufficient; they eat on their own and use a litter box. They have NOT been vaccinated or neutered yet. Please contact: talkingmoon@swva.net |

Four kittens about 5-6 weeks old (as of June 1st). There are two brown tabby males, one male gray tabby with a little white, and one female gray with white tuxedo markings. They are very friendly now! Call 745-7207 or email floydhumane@gmail.com and ask about Anna's kittens. |

"Feely" is a 12-pound, 6-year-old neutered male who has been mostly an outdoor cat and can catch mice. An affectionate cat, he wants to be allowed inside and invited to snuggle in a loving lap. He has been left behind when previous caretakers have moved away and enjoys the chance to "hang out" and communicate with people. Call Amy Shank at 745-8488. |
