Lost & Found

Don’t you just hate it when a pet goes missing? It’s one of the worst feelings in the world. Thankfully, there are some steps you can take to increase your chances of being reunited: keep a tag and collar on your animal, microchip them, attach dog licenses to collars, call the Floyd Pound to report lost / found animals, and place a FREE ad in the Floyd Press. Put up posters near where your pet was lost and at area veterinary offices. You can also place a listing here for lost or found pets which will run for 2 months.

This page is dedicated to reuniting animals with their people. It is a free listing service. Please contact the person who placed the advert. The Humane Society has no information regarding these animals.

To place an ad, email us at floydhumane@gmail.com with the following information:

Pet’s name, breed, sex, identifying marks, where last seen or found, and how people may contact you. A digital photograph (sized to easily display online) is helpful but not required.

And remember: call the Floyd Pound (540-745-9365) regularly as your dog may have been picked up by Animal Control!
