school. We are located right next to Duncan Valley Road. Ffemale mixed breed dog, approximately 8 years old, 55ish pounds, black/silver shaggy dog ran off just before Thanksgiving. On Thursday of last week, August 27, 2009, my cat disappeared
from our home at 3000 Buffalo Mountain Road in Willis, VA. We returned
from vacation this past Sunday and haven't seen him since. The folks
looking after the place said the last time they saw him was that
Thursday. He is a large sized, DSH, neutered male cat with mostly gray and black tabby markings with big blotches of white, mostly on his belly and feet. Below is a photo. Missing since June 5th. Last seen at 2500 Raven Rock Road Ararat VA. This is where the dog lives. Cowboy is a 2/3 year old male Staffordshire Terrier. He is really people friendly but hates cats. He does not fair well with other dogs that are not submissive. He weighs about 50 pounds and is white and brown/brindled. (3/19) My miniature poodle jumped off of my FoxRidge Apartment Balcony (Blacksburg). He is a brownish grey apricot poodle and weighs about 11 pounds. He is wearing a royal blue collar with a bone shaped tag saying "George Banta" and my phone number (757)515-5573. He is newly adopted from the pound and may also respond to Jonah. Winnie has been missing since Saturday, Nov. 15. She was last seen on Dawnwood Road in Roanoke Co. She is an inside dog and does not know the woods. She is 8 years old and is a black and white border collie. She has had all of her shots. She does have a collar on. She is very sweet and loving but may be very scared. She is loved like a child and the owners would really like her to return home. Found 11/17/09 in Indian Valley area of Floyd. Male (neutered)
lab/mix dog with a lovely golden reddish coat and a long slender
tail. He's 60-70 pounds and maybe 3-5 years old (guessing). Extremely
friendly, well-trained, good with our dog, cats and kids. He has
a faded peach/pink collar with no identification. Appears to have
been well-cared for at one time, now has long overgrown toenails
and a wounded right rear foot. We'd really like to find his home.

FOUND DOG:
Medium-size, black & tan/brindle female dog, found on Roger Rd. -- starving and infested with fleas, worms, and ticks (I picked off nearly 100 ticks, and am sure I did not get them all). We are treating her and plan to keep her unless previous owner steps forward and agrees to pay her medical expenses by 11/11 (we move out of state on that day). She gets along great with our other dog and will have a wonderful life with us. Here's the number to call if you are the previous owner (please call by no later than 11/10/09): 695-0017. |

Male Dog-not fixed and wearing a metal choke collar with no ID.
He is dark grey/blackish with some white/tan markings and has a
long tail probably weighs over 75 pounds. Looks like a German Shepard-Mix?
(almost looks like a wolf or coyote). Very skittish has been in
my neighborhood for about 2 weeks.
