Brida, now Cali, was with us for over 5 months and finally found her forever home!

We are so happy for you Brida girl! You deserve so much love!

**We are in need of a forever home or foster for Brida**

FCHS pays ALL expenses including a crate, food, toys, vet bills while in foster care.

She would be best as an only dog and no cats.

If you would like to meet Brida, please contact Carol at cymoates@gmail.com  Thank you!

My name is Brida. I am a German Shepherd mix, though I do not know what I am 'mixed' with. I am about 5-6 years old and was found as a stray. The kind people at the Floyd County Humane Society saved me from the pound and are trying really hard to find a perfect home for me. I have known them since April!...

A beautiful lab/pit mix we believe showed up on our front porch early this morning and hasn't left our property since. Sweet, friendly demeanor. Was friendly with our dog. Has a purple collar and a white diamond shaped marking on her chest. Looks to be about 1 year or 2 of age. We've gave her water and some food because she refuses to leave our property and wants to come inside. Can tell she's primarily an indoor dog for the most part. Have been offering her some shade as well since it was so hot today. We are unsure what else to do. Unfortunately, we cannot keep her.   Attached please find her picture. My name is Dena Schools. We live on Sowers Road NE near Thunderstruck Road by the Little River. Contact number is 757-679...

*Adopted!*

Mabel is a beautiful young lady with soulful eyes who needs lots of love right now. She stares into your eyes, asking whether you will give her that.
Mabel isn’t interested in playing yet; she just wants hugs right now.

Mabel is house-trained, seems fine with other dogs, and we don’t know her cat history. We believe Mabel’s confidence will build quickly. By the way, Mabel’s stubborn streak pops up when she is requested to go into a non-preferred place – like her kennel.

Please contact Carol at cymoates@gmail.com if you would like to meet beautiful, lovable, huggable Mabel.
