'Dog Costume Contest-Prizes'

Author Cara Achterberg will have her book "Another Good Dog" available.
A warm and entertaining memoir about what happens when you foster fifty dogs in less than two years―and how the dogs save you as much as you save them.
The day’s activities also include celebrating Noble’s birthday and a Dog Costume Contest.
Multiple rescues and vendors on site.
Contest Entry Fee is $5 and proceeds go to FCHS.
Prizes: 1st prize is a $100 certificate, 2nd prize $50 certificate, 3rd prize is a choice of a T-Shirt.

​Percy found is original owners! Foster kitten Percy is a survivor!  Percy was a little 3 month old kitten when a visitor to Floyd heard a commotion outside and found Percy high up in a tree, scared by the dogs who lived at  the residence. This kind gentleman rescued Percy and cared for him until he had to travel and turned Percy over to Floyd Humane Society volunteers. Percy was suffering from severe parasitism and had a skin condition that was diagnosed as ringworm. He has been thriving since receiving the appropriate care.  He is eating well, gaining weight, and his skin is healing. Percy is just the friendliest little guy!  Because of the diagnostics and treatment involved with Percy's medical conditions, he has incurred about $140 in veterinary expenses.  If you would like to help donate to Percy's expenses,  it would be much appreciated.  Every little bit helps and enables us to provide the best care to our foster cats.
