From Casper's new family:
Casper has become much more loving and is very focused on our family, and will stop sniffing and exploring to follow us if he finds that we're leaving him during our walks. He is enjoying his 40 acres of freedom, and gets to run and play as much as he wants. If he gets out of eyesight, I call him and he comes bounding up almost immediately - he doesn't seem to like to be far from us. We were looking for a companion animal for Sophie, our dog who lost her best friend a year and a half ago but who doesn't always enjoy other dogs, and Casper seems to be the perfect fit for her. She is very patient with him and enjoys playing and running with him - she is much more active and seems happy now that he is with us. As a new adoptive family, we all still have a lot of learning to do about each other, but we're glad to have him and blessed by him every day. Revised 4/2/19:
Happy Tails from former FCHS foster dog, Max: “Here are a few photos of Max settling in and taking over our couch lol! He is doing really well. Buddy (Max’s new sibling) has been a lot more forgiving of Max stealing his ball and Max has gone on his first couple runs with me and shows promise as a runner! We are enjoying his spunky ability to constantly play and hang out with you no matter where you are.” |
