On August 28th, six different music groups will be performing LIVE over the course of a day at the 9th Cabin Fever event! Food will be available for purchase during the course of the event, and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Floyd County Humane Society. Anyone is welcome to come (dogs, too!) and there are no entry fees.
Check out the Cabin Fever website for more information. And stay tuned for updates!

Little Foot is a very sweet senior cat, around 15 years old, neutered, and up-to-date on his vaccines. He needs a retirement home where he can relax and get lots of love from people (and is ok with other cats! Although a bit bossy at times...) He has a scar on his right eye but doesn't seem to mind it much. If given an opportunity, he will purr like crazy and rub all over you, even sitting on your lap if you allow him to! If you're considering adopting Little Foot (or just want to meet him!) fill out an adoption application and send it to [email protected]. Do you know of any local feral cats that have not been spayed/neutered? Floyd County Humane Society has partnered with Mountain View Humane and Angels of Assisi to provide a monthly shuttle service for any Floyd County community cats! All eligible felines are entitled to a free rabies vaccination, a spay/neuter, and an ear tipping for free! If you are interested, please call 540-745-7207 to set up an appointment (appointments are required.) Traps will be provided to make it easier to catch the cats.
Yang is around one-year-old, 54 pounds, and housebroken. He's also a very sweet dog and can be in a home with other dogs and/or children. He loves outdoor activities, too, and will be perfect dog for you if you frequently go outside and bike, jog, etc. If you want to see Yang in person, he will be at the Buffalo Mountain Brewery on July 10th! If you're considering adopting Yang, fill out an adoption application and send it to [email protected]. |
