It's onto Round 1 against the Nassau Humane Society in Fernandina Beach, Florida.  The competition will be tough: Fernandina Beach  is a much larger organization with many fans and supporters. We will have to hit it hard to beat them and move on to Round 2!

March Muttness is a bracket style fundraising competition (based on college basketball's March Madness)! There are different “rounds” in which each shelter competes with another to raise the most donations. Whoever wins their “round” then advances in the bracket to the next round. Thirty two of 38 animal shelters made it through the qualifying round. Throughout the month of March:

• The Thrilling 32 will compete in Round 1
• The Snuggly 16 will compete in Round 2
• The Excellent 8 will compete in Round 3
• The Furry 4 will make it to Round 4, and 
• Two big winners will make it to the National Championship Round! Additional prize money may be awarded to the National Champion!

Be sure to save a little of your donation funds to spread across each round and be sure to make note of the donation deadlines!
