Oliver and Rue found their forever home!
These male and female litter mates from the "P" kitten group (formerly known as Piper and Pierce), were living with a volunteer foster at Floyd Jewelry, but not for long! Their new humans met them and decided to adopt them. They write us that Oliver and Rue "love to play, snuggle, and climb! We are so in love!" They've even allied with two canine members of the family (check out the photos!) We still have many cats and kittens who need home. Please visit them online and fill out an application. Contact us at [email protected] if you have questions.

With many thanks to two Walmart Community Grants from Facility #1292 in Christiansburg & Facility #2762 in Fairlawn, we were able to hold our 2nd FREE rabies clinic for our community. It was a gorgeous day and a busy one too! Dr. Davieds vaccinated 53 dogs and 23 cats!! *We want to thank our dedicated volunteers who spent time planning, coordinating, and working at the clinic. The day ran without a hitch because of you! *We give much appreciation to Dr. Kathy Davieds! Thank you for your time and dedication to protecting the health of our furry family members. *Thank you to Willis Elementary School for letting us use their parking lot. It made everything run so smoothly! We hope to provide another free rabies clinic in the fall. Stay tuned for details! They've been working hard to raise money (over $84,000!) for our future shelter.Let's help them make Cabin Fever 11 a successful and fun event!
