**Finn went to an in-state hound rescue on March 2nd. He is being fostered with a new hound playmate! We wish the best for Finn and hope he finds the perfect, hound-loving, forever home soon!
Finn is a tall goofy hound mix that is very affectionate with people. Finn stands tall with you to get hugs! He is a very loving fellow. Finn gets along great with other dogs, but will do best in a home without cats. If you would like to meet Finn, please contact Carol at cymoates@gmail.com.

Happy Tails from former FCHS foster dog, John Wayne: John Wayne, now renamed Cooper, is very happy in his new home. In addition to his new human, Cooper has a big brother named Charlie.
It's amazing how this all worked out. After five inquiries in a few days and nobody following through, a Petfinder lead resulted in someone within walking distance to Cooper’s foster family adopting him! His foster family had never met his adoptive family before that. Welcome home, Cooper! Ollie was a foster fail and we couldn't be happier for him!! He is pretty happy himself :)
Weezie went to an in-state rescue. We wish her all the best and hope she finds a family as awesome as she is!
Weezie is a 6 month old Husky/Border Collie/Beagle mix. To say she is full of puppy energy would be an understatement. Likes: Belly rubs, Playing, Kisses, Love, More Belly Rubs Dislikes: Cats, Small Dogs, Squirrels We do not recommend Weezie go to a home with cats or small dogs. She has a strong prey drive and can play rough, but gets along well with dogs her own size and larger, children and, of course, humans. She has shown to be gentle with adults, even when playing. If you would like to meet Weezie, please contact cymoates@gmail.com. Magnolia has ended up a foster fail and is going to spend her life with her foster family! Magnolia is a sweet young cat, approximately 8 months old, who was found as a stray. She is healthy and has been spayed and vaccinated.
Magnolia loves people but like most torties she is selective about her cat and dog friends. She has been fostered in a home with a dog and other cats. She made friends with a cat and tolerated the dog. if you are interested in meeting this kitty leave a message at 540-745-7207 or email at info@floydhumanesociety.org. Angelina is a sweet and playful kitten that was found in a rural area of Floyd County. Her brother was recently adopted and now she is looking for her forever home.
