Thanks to Finn Graphics, We've designed and installed this beautiful new road sign at the site of our new shelter.  Before the first of October, our first doggo arrived at the new temporary shelter! We now have both cats and dogs in our care at this location. WATCH this video showing Spot playing with some of our amazing dog team volunteers! Share
 Example of a whole house backup generator similar to one the Floyd County Humane Society can now purchase! The generator will be an essential part of our emergency preparedness plan. The Floyd County Humane Society would like to thank The Larry Woodrow Vest Fund of Community Foundation Serving Western Virginia for awarding us a grant to purchase and install a backup generator for our shelter house and temporary dog shelter. The emergency backup generator is a priority and an essential part of our emergency preparedness plan to keep pets in our care safe and secure.  Share
