Captain Jack is in search of a new forever home because his former owner is in hospice care. He is a super friendly, snugly lap cat, that is accustomed to being indoor/outdoor. He does wants to be an only cat. He is healthy, neutered, and up to date on vaccines.
If you would like to meet this sweet cat, leave a message at 540-745-7207 or e-mail email@example.com.
After over 2 years in foster care, Ebony and Jett have been adopted! We are so glad they have a forever home!!
Ebony and Jett are a mother & son pair, ages 3 and 1.
They are spayed/neutered, tested for leukemia/FIV, vaccinated, and have current flea treatment.
We would like for them to stay together as they are a bonded pair.
Mom, Ebony, and son, Jett are both very friendly though are shy of small children and dogs. Jett likes to climb on people's backs for piggy back rides!
If you would like to meet this sweet pair, leave a message at 540-745-7207 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
Betsy is doing fabulous in her new forever home! We think they are in love!!
Ever wanted your own pet baby wolverine? This is your opportunity. New Floyd County Humane Society foster dog Sassy doesn’t behave like a baby wolverine (and she doesn’t even behave “sassy,” either), but she sure does look like one! Sassy is a very gentle girl, and her only wild animal-like quality is that she will lean on you, or climb on your lap, to get a BEAR HUG. She is about 1 to 2 years old, house-trained, 45 pounds, needs tons of love and brushing, and just arrived from the pound.
Please contact Carol at email@example.com if you would like to meet Sassy!
Oh Mae! We are so happy for you! You deserve to find your forever home and you finally have! Happy tails, dear girl! Thanks to Whitney for her loving foster care while you waited!
Do your children need a cuddly dog buddy? Because Eli may be the perfect dog for your family!!
Mr. Eli is about 6 months old and is just the softest little cuddle bug currently weighing in at 18lbs. He loves to be right by your side everywhere you go, and is a very smart little pup. He does great with other dogs and cats (but loves to play and might get on an older dogs nerves a bit). He is great with children!
He is currently at a fabulous foster home where they say he is a very fast learner, crate trained, doesn’t nip like most puppies, and is picking up on the potty training thing very fast!
Please contact Carol with the Floyd County Humane Society at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to meet him! ❤️
Sometimes it takes a village to save a dog... Samson is now living the good life in Maine. He is one lucky dog!
