Stop by the Floyd County Humane Society table and say hello!
Venue: winery courtyard and gazebo hillside
Enjoy traditional festival beers and delicious bratwurst on the crest of the Blue Ridge. Or break out of bratwurst tradition with our select wines and ciders!
Live music all afternoon by Jared Stout (Noon-2:30) and Java Brothers (2:30-5).
Free admission. Bratwurst platters, beer, wine, cider, arts and crafts available for purchase.
SALES: Tickets ($5 each) may be purchased at the ticket tent for food and beer. 1 ticket = 1 beer, 1 brat, or 1 large side; 2 tickets for a brat + side platter. Cider and wine may be purchased (no tickets) in the Tasting Room or at the Courtyard Hut. Cash or credit card sales of tickets, cider, and wine available.
SEATING: We'll have beer hall style long table seating under the tent for up to 180 and a few dozen more seats on the crush pad patio. Since seating is first come first served, consider bringing camp chairs for perimeter seating.
PARKING: Park for the event in the hilltop field behind the winery, by the water towers. Attendants or signs will direct you. Ride the wagon from the parking area as it loops roughly every 20 minutes, or enjoy the walk (about 5 minutes). The main parking lot will be reserved for restaurant customers with reservations and for patrons with disabilities (ADA placards displayed).
NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK ALLOWED! NO COOLERS OR PICNIC BASKETS!
We are looking for a couple of people to volunteer to make catnip bags. We will supply the catnip. Email Lynn G. at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks!
Did you know that the Floyd County Humane Society strives to supply food to stray and feral cat colonies in our county?
It's true and we need your help!
If you can donate cat food; dry cat or kitten, or canned food, please drop off with Patrice at Wills Ridge Wednesday thru Friday 9:30am - 5:30pm.
MISSING! Please help! Reed Hill Road area. Two shepherd/husky mixes. Bronco, smaller and tan, has one blue eye. Bandit is visibly a mix of the two breeds. Bronco is/was pulling a retractable leash behind him. Both have collars with tags and our phone numbers. 804-704-4101 or 540-763-3202.
Wonderdul news. Found safe! My neighbors dog went missing Sunday during the storm. We live on the parkway in Copper Hill. She is a yellow lab/husky mix, cream colored coat, one blue eye and one brown, her name is Sage and she did have a tag and collar but could have lost it in the storm. She has a dislocated hip and is being treated for it.
My number is 540-651-6218 if you come across her.
