Clyde's wonderful new family was skeptical about senior dogs at first, but now they are hooked. They said, "If we can get one adopted by posting and raising awareness, we have done our job. Share with anyone and everyone."
Clyde went to work with his Dad for the first time last week and is already in charge of important tasks: "Clyde here. Just wanted to tell you my week is going well and I’m healing and adjusting well. Life at work is tough and stressful. So many people to pet me and talk to me. As the DEO (Dog Executive Officer) I’m trying to learn new things and wrap my ears around the position. Dad says I have to make the money for bones and biscuits. Hope all the other doggies are finding homes. Here is a picture of me showing you how stressed out I am in the office. Talk to you soon." We are so happy for Clyde and wish him and his new family many happy and snugly moments to come ❤️

**ADOPTED!! STAY TUNED FOR UPDATES!!**
Chappy is a small package with lots of good things included! This new FCHS foster is about 3 or 4 years old and weighs in at just over 20 pounds. Chappy is good with kids and is a good riding partner, according to his former owner. He gets along well with other dogs but may chase your cats. Happy Chappy is content to hang out with you while you get work done; he entertains himself and doesn’t get into too much trouble, while he patiently waits for you to finish and turn your attention to HIM! Little guy is also ready to explore when you are. If you would like to meet Chappy, please contact Carol at the Floyd County Humane Society at [email protected]. |
