**We are in need of a forever home or foster for Brida**

FCHS pays ALL expenses including a crate, food, toys, vet bills while in foster care. 
She would be best as an only dog and no cats.

My name is Brida. I am a German Shepherd mix, though I do not know what I am 'mixed' with. I am about 5-6 years old and was found as a stray. The kind people at the Floyd County Humane Society saved me from the pound and are trying really hard to find a perfect home for me. I have known them since April! I've been very patient and love playing with all the people that come to visit me. Most of all, I really love getting out of the kennel and seeing new things.

Sometimes I go on weekend trips and stay at other nice people's homes. But each time I end up back in the kennel. I wonder each time if this home is my forever home. I love people and children, but I do not get along with with most dogs. I like to chase cats and have been told not to, but I just can't help it. I love car rides, walks, to be brushed, playing fetch, and belly rubs. I can't wait to have a home to call my own and a grassy fenced-in yard to play in.
