Earlier this year we posted about our spay/neuter shuttle service. One of our partners has changed how they handle this so we want to inform everyone of the change.
Mountain View Humane recently decided to shuttle pet animals and feral cats in different vehicles to keep them separate. This will reduce the anxiety that feral cats experience on the shuttle with barking dogs. Starting this month, they will send their mobile surgical unit to the Citizens Telephone Cooperative parking lot to spay and neuter pet cats/dogs once every other month. Floyd County feral cats will still be shuttled separately, once every month as usual. For any questions, or if you would like to make an appointment (appointments are required) or just want more details, please call 540-745-7207. ![]()
