Join us for Howl O' Ween Pooches on Parade!

On October 30th, the Floyd County Humane Society and Floyd Girl Scout Troop 163 are hosting a dog costume parade at Lineberry Park! The Howl O' Ween Pooches on Parade is a great opportunity to show off your adorable dogs to the citizens of Floyd! Dress up in a matching costume with your pooch to maximize your chances of winning one of the available prizes. You could win a prize for the best overall costume, the highest voted costume among the other participants, or the best coordinating costumes between you and your dog(s)!

We will join up and parade from the park to the courthouse and return to the park! 

Registration for the event starts at 11 am and the parade starts at 12 pm, so be there early! The registration fee is $5, or more if you're feeling generous. All proceeds go towards building the humane society's new shelter construction fund!

The event goes until 2 pm and we will have gift bags and prizes for the costume contest. Event is rain or shine.
