Mae is adopted!! Yay Mae!!

​Oh Mae! We are so happy for you! You deserve to find your forever home and you finally have! Happy tails, dear girl! Thanks to Whitney for her loving foster care while you waited!

​Mae is a very friendly, loyal, and gentle Catahoula hound. Mae loves being around other dogs, and we recommend a home for her with another dog to help her feel comfortable. She would also do best in a home without cats (though she may be fine with cats when given time to get use to them).

Mae would love a job, in addition to being your companion. Mae’s former owner told us that she is trained for sit (pointer finger), lay down (closed fist), and stay (palm open), but stay needs work, and she hasn’t worked cattle yet. Mae walks easily on a leash and would like to walk, run, and frolic with you. She is 1 ½ years old, house-trained, and looking for her forever home!
