Sweet and lovable Fred

​Fred was adopted on Christmas Day and made the long trip home to Massachusetts!!

He has a new sister and humans that love him dearly. YAY FRED!! xoxo

UPDATE (12/3): Fred is starting to come out of his shell!! He's loving the love from volunteers and even started to play fetch!

We have a feeling that in Fred's 7 yrs, he has not experienced much human love and affection. He needs someone to love him, be patient, be slow, and show him that we are not all bad.

We do not know much of his history, we pulled him from a neighboring animal shelter. He was owner surrendered because his owner could not care for him any longer. Fred lived with another dog previously, he was gentle with other children that met him, we don't know how he would be with cats, or chickens. He is short, 38 lbs, and needs to gain about 5 more.

He's 100% mutt! Based on his ears, we think he is a Kelpie, Australian mix, perhaps there is some lab in there too?
